Online Music Subcription

Online music subscription is very popular these days. Over the past couple of years, there has been a significant increase in the number of online music stores available. These online music stores can be ideal for downloading some of your favorite tracks/albums etc. However, do you think it's right for these online music stores to charge people for downloading music ? Additionally, what do you have to say about paying to download music when you can get them for free illegally? Personally, I get my music legally by subscibing to iTunes and I do not have a problem with paying for the music download, but I know other peoples' view might differ from mine.

  1. I think people ought to pay for downloading music online for a number of reasons.
To begin; artists loose thousands, if not millions, of dollars yearly due to illegal downloading of their music. You have to take into consideration that artists spend allot of time money and effort into producing a piece of music. If their music is being downloaded illegally then the artist reaps no profit. Secondly, subscription to an online music store can be less expensive that purchasing music from the store.
